What does "waitlist" mean?

Updated by Seat Relay Support

Our Waitlist lets fans show interest in tickets for an event that’s sold out. If tickets become available, we’ll charge your card and send the tickets to you right away. Joining the Waitlist doesn’t guarantee tickets, but it gives you a better chance to get them.

How it works:

  1. Fans who want tickets join the Waitlist and enter payment details.
  2. Ticket holders choose to sell their tickets to fans on the Waitlist.
  3. When tickets are available, Seat Relay charges the buyer on the Waitlist.
  4. The seller’s old tickets are canceled, and new, valid tickets are delivered to the buyer.
  5. Buyers attend the event with confidence, knowing their tickets are real.
  6. Sellers are paid about 72 hours after the event.
